Obituary

The family of Mickey Seymour will celebrate his life of 74 years at 10:00 AM on Thursday, January 20, 2022, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. His family will host a time of fellowship and remembrance from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. He passed on Friday, January 14, 2022. On December 19, 1947, Mickey was born to D. C. and Mabel Seymour in Lubbock, TX. He married Sherry Mitchell on June 14, 1968, in Lubbock. They celebrated just over 50 joyous years together. After losing Sherry in 2019, God graced Mickey with a second chance at happiness and adventure.  Mickey married Edith Tillery on September 28, 2020, in Tallahassee Florida.

Survivors include his wife, Edith Seymour; children, Brent (Adam Bowden) Seymour, Heather (Scott) Miller; stepchildren, Lisa (Dusty) Skidmore, Bryan (Beth) Tillery; grandchildren, Derien (Landon) Phelps, Derick Miller, Phillip Miller, Jay Tillery, Lexi Tillery, Chase Tillery; great-grandchildren, Brecken Phelps, Brynleigh Phelps; siblings, Garnie McCleskey, Yvonne Rohr.

He was preceded in death by his father, D. C. Seymour; his mother, Mabel Seymour; his brother, Jerry Seymour; wife, Sherry Seymour.
