Mick Meech

A service to celebrate the life of Mickey Ernest Meech is scheduled at 3:00 PM on Friday, April 14, 2023, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers, followed by a time of fellowship with family and friends. He passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, in his home surrounded by his loved ones.

Mickey “Mick” Ernest Meech was born July 23, 1957, to Spencer Jr. and Billie (Casteel) Meech, in Amarillo, TX. He married the love of his life Oralia Castaneda on October 20th, 1995, at the Courthouse in Mineral Wells, Texas. Mick was truly a hard worker and he could always be found doing projects around the beautiful home he and Oralia built together. Mick loved riding his Harley, cooking, telling stories of his adventures, watching the latest political news story, and advocating people vote for what they believe in. Above all what he most loved was being Grandpa Mick to all his Grandkids and Great Grandkids.

Mr. Meech is survived by his wife, Oralia Meech; three stepsons, Al Acevedo, Stanley Acevedo, and Chris Acevedo; twelve grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two brothers, Terry Lee Meech, and Preston Gene Meech; and his precious Bear.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Spencer, Jr., and Billie Meech; and two brothers, Daulton Dean Pilcher, and Travis Merrill Meech
