She will be fondly remembered for her broad range of interests she actively pursued--from Catholicism to the symphony to higher education to golfing--and in general for her contagious enthusiasm for life. Mrs. Parra was so kind to me, often going out of her way to help me, such as the time she nominated me for a scholarship which I later received. I extend my deepest sympathy to Mary Elizabeth and to Richard for the loss of their beloved mother.
