Marty, your family and friends, I am grieved to read of your passing only just today, June 8. 2024. I knew you in the 80s and thought you were one of the sweetest persons I've ever met. My daughter, Sara at the time only 4 or 5 loved you. You built her a toy boy, dressed up as the Easter bunny and she loved it. I will always have a special place in my heart for you. My deepest sorrow for your wife, kids and grandkids. Love, Julie

I just found out about Marty. Marty and his beautiful wife were so sweet and kind to everyone they came in contact with. I have so many great memories of our times together at Deep South and the many outings at their lake home when they lived in the Dallas Area. Marty will be missed by all that knew him. I celebrate his amazing life!

I am sorry to hear for your loss. Marty was one of the most warm, gentle men I have known. I shared several years in the workforce with Marty and he was always genuinely kind and helpful to everyone around him. He invited our whole team and families out to his home on the lake and I still have wonderful memories with my children of catching fish off his dock. Thank you Marty for your kindness and impact on this world. God Bless.

I want to share you a funny. Marty worked part-time at Turner & Witt Plumbing. He and I shared the same office area. There was one time when he was having a snack and I asked him if Nan knew about the snack. His reply was "What happens at Turner & Witt stays at Turner & Witt!!!" LOL
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Marty and I grew up Tulane Avenue together, just a few houses apart. We played lots of ball together. Marty was a very sweet guy. Always had a nice smile. Over the years, I have thought fondly of him. Rest in peace, my friend. gary

Marty & Nan were the sweetest couple always welcoming. The last adventure for us 4 was to the Grand Canyon for Marty & my 70th birthday celebration. Nan & Steve were in their 60's. It was a great trip at one of the 7 wonders of the world. Marty & enjoyed many as our each having 2 boys each was a pleasant place for the guys to have down time in their busy life's. Thanks for the memories my BFF. Elisabeth

Marty (uncle Marty) my moms best friend. Always there for you and with a smile. Who else gives your children a giant ape from the STL Zoo with tons of baby food tied to it when they are born, tickets to the zoo train or even introduced us to the book depository in Dallas when they were older. Fun and Marty went hand in hand. Marty listened and cared! Marty you are always in our hearts!

Marty & I went to Blues hockey games, Cardinal baseball games, St. Louis Zoo , his very favorite place he worked. So many concerts I remember some Bridges with Rolling Stones, Tina Turner, ZZ Top, Van Halen, etc. St. Louis is a rock n roll town. Marty wanted fun out of life, was a very special, patient dad to his adorable sons Josh & Marc. My brother from a different Mother. God has a special place for you, as well as in the hearts of all who knew him. ♥ God blessed me. RIP my BFF

My BFF for 39 of our 76 years together. Marty's heart was as big as the sky. He was an Uncle to my 6 kids & a great Uncle to my grandkids, a wonderful man, loving husband to Nan, his forever love. It was a beautiful experience having a man as my BFF as a single woman in the 80's then I met my forever, Steve. One of Marty's good friends and wonderful man and our friendship lasted through ups & downs. We moved to Florida in 1999, & Marty moved to Texas & met his love Nan. We were always in touch, conversations interrupted would continue next time we talked, text, emailed. Always second in line to our families but always in our hearts. So grateful for the chance to share his life until the end. We camped with our boys, tube down rivers, did our best friend trip to Key West and celebrated life. Marty is part of our family and will always be in our hearts with great memories. RIP

Marty and I only worked together for a short time. But he was always smiling, laughing and helpful. May God be with each of you during this hard time. Remember always the smiles, love and laughter Marty shared with each of you. God Bless!
