Marka Arnold

The family of Marka Spurlock Crawford Arnold will host a gathering of family and friends from 5:30 PM until 7:30 PM on Monday, April 3, 2023, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. A service to celebrate her life of 80 years is scheduled at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at Lake Ridge Chapel. Marka Bess Arnold was born January 11, 1943, to Chester, Sr., and Juell (Judy) (Oats) Spurlock in Lubbock.  Marka attended and graduated from Southland High School. She was married to James Crawford. Later she married the love of her life Ernest Russell “Dusty” Arnold.  Marka was a business owner and operated Karisma Unlimited in Cactus Alley with her daughter, Trisha.  She loved people and enjoyed doing for others.  She called it like she saw it and you always knew where you stood with her.

Mrs. Arnold is survived by her daughters, Trisha (Brad) Teel, and Robin (John) Moreland; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Along with her two husbands, Marka is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Chester George “Buddy” Spurlock, Jr.; and granddaughter, Kristin Wheeler.
