Marion Munn was born November 1, 1941, to Patrick and Claudia Dunnam Munn in Kermit, TX. He married Lonna Bingham on April 29, 1961, at Lonna’s parents’ home in Seminole, TX. Marion worked at Texas Tech University for 51 years. He was also a Cubmaster for 3 years with the Cub Scouts and enjoyed helping to coach his grandsons in baseball.

Marion is survived by his wife, Lonna Munn; children, Marty (Diane) Munn, and Stephanie (David) Taylor; grandchildren, Tyler (Kari) Munn, Trevor (Monique) Munn, Cory (Jayden) Taylor, Joshua Taylor; great-grandchildren, Timothy Munn, Joanna Munn, Violet Munn; brother, Wayne (Anna) Munn.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Patrick and Claudia Munn; and sister, Kay Pettit.

He died on Wednesday, November 13, 2024. He was 83.
