Marilyn Crawford passed away on Nov, 2, 2016, at home surrounded by her loving family. It was a life well lived. She was born Nov. 18, 1933, to James and Bonnie Travis Troy in Magness, AR. She graduated from Newark High School in 1951, and moved toPhoenix, AZ, in 1954. She married her life-time love and partner, Lawrence (Larry) Crawford, in Phoenix on Dec. 21, 1956. Marilyn was a member of the Sunset Church of Christ. She worked at Monterey High School in the counselor’s office for 23 years, where she had many friends among students and staff.
She is survived by her husband, Larry; daughters, Susan Vasquez (David), Laura Williams (Joe), Taunya Randolph (Patrick); sisters, her twin, Carolyn Sturdivant, Judie Pike, and Kay Adair; grandchildren, Erika Diaz (Adrian), Matthew Rhea (Christina), Mason Randolph, Maxwell Randolph; great-grandson, Greyson Diaz; and soon to be great-granddaughter, Feona Rhea all of Lubbock.
She is predeceased by her parents, James and Sybil Troy and sister, Daphren Stewart.
