Margaret Cordelia Lueb went to be to be the Lord, Tuesday, May 22, 2018. Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life of 100 years at 2 PM, Saturday, May 26, 2018, at Plainview Memorial Park.
Margaret was born on February 23, 1918, to David and Sara (Simpkins) Morgan in Ardmore, OK. She married the love of her life, James “Jake” Lueb on Jan. 26, 1952, in Clovis, NM. Margaret was a loving Christian mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and always doing for others. Margaret lived in Fritch and Midland before moving to Lubbock. She was active in her church and many clubs and volunteered for Meals on Wheels. She enjoyed cooking at the FBC, Midland and for the Baptist encampment in Stanton. She was a member of Bethany Baptist in Lubbock. Margaret enjoyed many hobbies including playing bridge, gardening, crafts, oil painting, and crocheting.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James “Jake” Lueb; daughter, Judy Bean, a grandson and two brothers, John and Dub Morgan.
Margaret is survived by her children, Garlon Tallent of Malakoff, Carolyn Weaver of Lubbock, Gayle Hall and husband Steve of Choctaw, OK, and Robert Lueb and wife Claudia of Lubbock, eleven grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.
