On Sunday, November 8, 2020, Jose “Manuel” Juarez made his final journey home to his Lord and Savior at the age of 62.Born on October 31, 1958, in Aguascalientes, Ags., Mexico came to the US at the age of 17 and made Lubbock, TX his home. Arriving in Lubbock, he worked for Ed Curbo Construction for many years learning his trade, which allowed him to create his own construction business, Juarez Construction. His phenomenal work is all around Lubbock, which made him proud.Manuel became a US citizen in 1997. Manuel married his loving and devoted wife, Maria Gonzales Juarez, on April 12, 1991. Manuel loved life and always made time to do what he loved. His favorite hobbies were hunting, fishing, baseball, and especially singing. He always had a love for his animals, including goats, sheep, cattle and horses. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, watching them grow, and knowing that he was able to build and provide a better life for all of them. He recently got many chuckles out, reffing his family’s kickball games.He is survived by his loving wife Maria; 6 beautiful daughters, Andrea Constancio (Eric), Erica Cerda Soto (Jeremiah),Esme Juarez, Virginia Juarez-Vega (Luis), Karina Juarez-Johnson (Miguel) and Alexia Juarez; 2 adopted daughters Amanda and Stephanie Leyva; and twelve incredible grandchildren, Andrew-Kane, Jayson, Zakary, Natalye, Mikaela, Mireya, Jeremiah, Mia, Mila, Jordan Emmanuel, Kori, and Mariela; also 4 adopted grandchildren, Sebastian, Liliana, Anahi, and Saul.He is also survived by his parents Manuel Juarez and Virginia Marmolejo de Juarez from Mexico, and siblings Francisco, Jesus, Javier, Jose Juarez and sisters Elena Flores and Isabel Juarez and many nieces and nephews.He is preceded in death by his brothers Julian and Juan Juarez.The family will host a time of fellowship and remembrance from 7 to 9 PM, Friday, November 13, 2020, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. The celebration of life funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 14, 2020, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. The service will be officiated by Pastor Pedro Hernandez, of Rios de Agua Viva. In support of the health of his family, face coverings are mandatory while attending the services. The service will be live-streamed on this page, where you are encouraged to sign the virtual guestbook and share memories and expressions of sympathy.Manuel will be dearly missed by many friends and family, for his impact on this world is incomparable. “No te digo adios, si no haste luego”
