Mack was born June 13, 1933 to the late Mack and Edith Odom in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The family owned Mack Odom Motors, a wrecking yard, where he learned all there is to know about vehicles. He and his brother Clifford were known far and wide in New Mexico for their car racing abilities.
Mack passed just days away from 67 years of marriage to the love of his life, Anniece. They had 5 children together. Mack loved his children more than life itself. He worked and sacrificed for his kids and grandkids by being a mechanic, fixing everything, building everything, and teaching those that wanted to learn. He was always there for them. He lived his life like a “Mack”.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Babe; a son, Eddie; his brother, Clifford and 3 sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Anniece Odom; three daughters, Susan Canon, Donna Odom, and Katherine “Kapper” Stevens; grandchildren, Courtney Odom, Marc Stevens, Amanda Karr, Jazmyn Foster, and Travis Canon; great-grandsons, Colt and Cash Meeks; and two sisters.
