On June 18, 1946, Lynn was born to Lewis and Audrey (Stokes) O’Connor in Levelland, TX. He married Marsha Starnes on June 18, 1993, at First Baptist Levelland. Anyone who knew Lynn knew that he was a kind and generous man and that he was the most loving husband, father, and pop. His faith, wisdom, and love were the foundation of the family. He had a great sense of humor and kept his friends and family smiling.

He owned his own business, Corrosion Control, for over 25 years. He enjoyed the challenges of owning his own business and the rewards of working with so many great people throughout the years.

Lynn enjoyed going on family vacations, going to old car shows, and spending time in the mountains. He and Marsha enjoyed traveling with dear friends to many places, like Ruidoso, Colorado, Alaska, and Nashville. He also enjoyed listening to good music, watching Texas Tech Football games, and going for walks with Yoda, his beloved dog. He and Marsha attended First Baptist Lubbock where they developed many close friendships.

Survivors include his wife, Marsha O’Connor; their children, Julie (Ricky) Rogers, Zac (Barrett) Walker, Dustin (Wendi) Walker, Cary (Scott) Short; grandchildren, Ethan Walker, Reed Rogers, Amanda Paulsen, Katie Rogers, Slade Short, Jakob Paulsen, Nevin Walker, and Zane Walker; and his twin sister, Ann (Ken) Gilbreath; sister-in-law, Eva Nell O’Connor; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lewis O’Connor; mother, Audrey O’Connor; sister, Barbara O’Connor; and brother, Ronal “Okie” O’Connor.

Lynn loved his friends and family deeply and leaves a legacy of a life well-lived. We pray that you will keep his memory alive in your hearts.
