Family and friends will gather for fellowship and support on Friday, December 1, 2017, from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Bible Church at 7915 Iola Avenue followed by a service to celebrate her life of 41 years at 2:00 p.m. A tribute of Lori’s life may be found at www.memorialdesigners.net where you may leave memories and expressions of sympathy for her family.
Lori Ann Brough Robinson was born on April 2, 1976, in Kingsville, TX, to Wendell and Judy Brough, Jr. Lori trusted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior at a young age. She was committed to living a life of obedience to Christ. She married her high school sweetheart, Christopher Lee Robinson, of Kingsville, TX, on May 17, 1997, at First Baptist Church Kingsville. She graduated Texas Tech University with a BS in mathematics in December of 1997. Lori taught mathematics classes at both Monterey High School in Lubbock and Grapevine Middle School in Grapevine, TX. She was blessed to be the mother of six children; Emily Grace, Andrea Beth, Verity Mae, Sarah Joy, Grayson Paul, and Abigail Rose. Over the past twelve years, she devoted herself to educating her children and making a Christ-centered homestead for her family.
Lori developed leukemia in 2012. In the years following she experienced both triumphs and setbacks – but her faith never wavered. Despite the long battle, her desire was to express the joy of the Lord and an attitude of thanksgiving to God in all her circumstances. She demonstrated this joy as she spoke to doctors, nurses, other patients, and most importantly, her family and friends. Her testimony in words and actions lives on as an example to those who knew, met, and witnessed her. Lori’s desire was that her life might reflect Jesus whose sacrifice provides eternal life for all who place their faith in Him.
Lori is survived by her parents, her husband, and her six children. She is also survived by her brothers; Michael Wayne Brough (Nancy) of San Antonio and Gregg Allen Brough (Karen) of Mansfield; and many nieces and nephews.

Lori is in the presence of her Savior, yet, she will live on in the lives of her children, her husband, her extended family and her church. Her life is an on going testimony to us as she endeavored to share the gospel everywhere she went. Doctors, nurses, hospital workers and others heard about her love for the Lord and her knowledge of His eternal plan for mankind. Father we thank You for the honor of knowing Lori and we look forward to seeing her again in our heavenly home. May Hid peace comfort those who mourn her passing.

  5. Praying for Christopher & her precious babies. What a blessing to have known such an honorable woman! After I became a single mom, I didn’t get to see her often. I’ll always regret that. 🙁 She was with me through the labor and birth of Edward, my youngest. Of all the people in the world, I wanted Lori with me during that unbearable season of my life. She had such a calm & gentle strength. I’ll never forget how fervently she brought me back to hope in Christ. Her faith was genuine & strong. Until we meet again, Lori!! ❤️????
