I was so sorry to hear of Linda Kay’s passing. I shared all my school days with her. She was always part of everything. I loved watching her play basketball. She will be missed, but I’m so glad that I got to see her at our class reunion.

I’m so sad to hear of Linda’s passing. I loved her so! When we moved to Friona in 1974 for Ronnie to join the practice of Doyle Elliot, I was prepared to dislike Linda , as she and Ronnie dated one summer of college. But she rang my doorbell, and said, “wanna go get a coke?” And that was it! We jumped in her big ole car, Moses - her beautiful white Samoyed in her lap- and my dog, Honey in my lap. Who could resist that gorgeous smile, infectious laugh and crazy personality! I have many funny, crazy stories about her and our time in Friona- running around with her and Doug. It was the best of times. But with Linda, it was always the best of times. She had a special way about her - a gift- that made you feel loved when you were with her. She’ was like a warm fire that warms everyone around her and you want to be near her and bask in her warmth. Even though I didn’t get to spend time with her in the years since we were there, I’ll always cherish our friendship and the great times we had. I shall miss her!

My condolence to the family of Linda. So sorry to hear about her passing but am blessed to know that she is now peaceful. Linda had a heart of gold and was a good customer and friend of mine for many years. She was a hostess at my baby shower. She was loved by everyone and had a Heart of Gold. Linda was the type of person that would do anything for any one. I will truly miss her smile, kindness and friendship! Love to all, Lisa Mullins

Linda was such a blessing in the lives of my family. So grateful we had the opportunity to have her as our realtor at a very difficult time for us. Her big heart was always looking after others.

I met Kay when we attended Texas Tech. We both came from small towns and bonded. We have been good friends for a long time. Just knowing she is spreading her wings in heaven and with Pam. She has missed her. Anyone that knew Kay will never forget her. I know I have lots of great memories. I know one day we will be reunited. We are praying for Rick, David, John and families that they find comfort in the coming days. Love you all
