Letha and her twin sister Lesa worked together all their lives at various hamburger stands in Lubbock throughout the years. She’s worked hard all her life and never complained. Many people in Lubbock have likely had a “Letha Burger” at some point! She loved her family and would do anything for anyone. She was the kindest, sweetest & most passionate woman. We were blessed to have spent another 5 wonderful years with her after her kidney transplant in 2017. She enjoyed being at home watching her movies and TV Shows, spending time with her grandkids. She would FaceTime Ace & Victoria every day and looked forward to those extra-long naps with Victoria. She loved going to the casino with her sister and loved to scratch those scratch-off lottery tickets. She will be missed every moment of every day till we meet again! She married David Grow on December 29, 1978, at Lubbock, Texas.Survivors include her husband, David Grow; their daughter, Jennifer (Chris) Acevedo; grandchildren, Alex, Ace, and Victoria Acevedo; siblings, Donald “Butch” (Carolyn) Donithan, Gorman (Barbro) Donithan, Vance (Connie) Donithan, David (Pat) Donithan, Ricky (Becky) Donithan, Lena (Ricky) Busbea, and Lesa (Chris) Geskos. She was preceded in death by her father, Glenny Donithan; mother, Etna Hartman; stepfather, Gaylord Hartman.
