The family of Leslie Thurman will celebrate her life of 62 years at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 30, 2021, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. She passed on Monday, January 18, 2021. You are encouraged to sign the virtual guestbook and share memories and expressions of sympathy on this page.On June 9, 1958, Leslie was born in El Paso, TX.  She was raised in Glenwood Springs, CO.  and attended college at Ft. Lewis College in Durango, CO.  Leslie worked as a facialist and then became a realtor.  She and her mother, Jimmie Claudine, moved to Lubbock from the Austin area six years ago to be closer to family.Survivors include her sisters, Traci Adamson, of Shallowater, and Kelly Thurman, of Glenwood Springs, CO; nephews, Ryan and Jordan, and a niece, Whitney; along with four great-nephews and a great-niece.She is preceded in death by her father, Jay Thurman, and mother, Jimmie Claudine Finley.
