Nora was an amazing lady and will be greatly missed. I had the privilege of working with Nora from 1993 to 2001 at Bank of America. She taught me so much and I still use that knowledge to this day. Not only did Nora teach me things in my professional life, but she also imparted personal wisdom that I greatly appreciate. Nora loved her family above all things and was always saying wonderful things about them. Nora loved to laugh and make others laugh. She was an amazing cook and was so generous to others. I remember one Thanksgiving a couple of our customers didn't have a place to go and out of the goodness of her heart, Nora invited them into her home to spend the holiday with her family. Nora also volunteered her time to help the community and every customer that came through our doors who knew Nora, loved Nora. She gave me her hot sauce recipe which I did pretty well with but it was a different story with her flour tortilla recipe. They turned out like pie dough! From then on, I just decided to enjoy the food Nora made that was always delicious. Nora had a very kind and generous spirit and was beautiful inside and out. She did love her red lipstick and because she wore it so well, I thought I could pull it off so there we went, ordering it from Avon. It never looked as good on me. I am grateful that I get to see granddaughter Jennifer from time to time and we get to share our "Nora" stories and every one of them leaves us with a smile which is what Nora would have wanted. My condolences to Nora's wonderful family and please know how highly everyone thought of this wonderful lady.

I will greatly miss the great woman. She was literally a second mother for me when I was growing up. And she made the best food. "Mom" was the kindest, most compassionate woman I have ever known. The world will be sadder for her passing. May God keep you and protect you always.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
