There are no events scheduled. Lee was born on May 8, 1929, to Leron and Anna Mae (Saringer) Sanderson in Brownwood, TX. He graduated from Bangs High School and attended Daniel Baker College in Brownwood. Lee served in the US Army with the 2nd Armored Division in Germany from 1950-1952. He was discharged from the Army on Dec. 3rd and married Dorris Keller on the 28th of that same month, in Levelland. They lived in Lubbock before moving to New Mexico in 1953. Lee owned and operated Hagerman Lumber and Supply in Hagerman, NM. After moving back to Lubbock in 1994, he joined Calvary Baptist Church and was active with the Coffee Pot Crew and the Thursday night men’s group. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and woodworking in his spare time. Lee was a loving and caring husband and father, grandfather, and Popa. He will be deeply missed.He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Jim Sanderson, and a grandson, Jason Paul Teel.Lee is survived by his wife, Dorris Sanderson; two daughters, Carma (Bill) Wilson, and Belva (Ruben) Flores all of Lubbock, a son, Mark (Jacquelyn) Sanderson of Artesia, NM, five grandchildren: Christopher (Cyndi) Worsham, Benjamin (Tasha) Teel, Braden Sanderson, Roland (Taylor) Flores, and Courtney (Travis) Lanning, six great-grandchildren: Jason Paul Teel II, Benjamin Teel, ZoeClaire Teel, Jackson Lanning, Harper Lanning, and Clarabelle Worsham; a brother, Dan (Barbara) Sanderson, a nephew, Brent Sanderson, and a niece, Theresa (Matt) Stout.
