Back in the 80’s when I was a very young Mother and wife, my husband had back surgery at Texas Tech Health and Science center. I was alone at the hospital, waiting for the very long surgery to end. Uncle Kenneth and Aunt Erness came into the waiting room. They stayed with me and came to see Steve everyday. It was such a blessing to us both. We had no idea about questions to ask the doctors and they really helped us with getting the right information. It was the sweetest and most compassionate thing for them to show up, very unexpected and help us through it. We have never forgotten about it. They were both amazing people and I know they are wearing jeweled crowns in heaven. Sincerely Keliree Mitchell
