Kelton Garrett Brooks was born on July 26, 1993 in Lubbock, Texas. He attended Frenship High School and graduated in 2012. His hobbies included all forms of artistry; sketching, painting, and creating modern abstract designs are just a few things he loved. He most recently took an interest in vegetable gardening. Kelton had a huge heart for those he loved. Although experiencing major health issues, he overcame tremendous obstacles by finding joy in spending time with family. He loved fishing and going to the movies. His dry sense of humor was infectious and created lots of laughter. Kelton would often send words of encouragement through random text messages to show his love for those around him. We will miss Kelton more than words can express. His memory will live on in the hearts of those that loved him the most.
The family would like to express their outmost gratitude for the team at Redbud Dialysis Center, Dr. Jesus Hidalgo and the Carenomics team for the care they provided during some of his hardest times. The family would also like to express appreciation to the Covenant Palliative Care Team and Hospice of Lubbock for helping make his transition as peaceful as possible.
