On Monday, August 16, 2021, Kathy Reasoner, age 66, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, August 21, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Lake Ridge Chapel. She married Mack Reasoner on May 20th, 1978, at the Sweetwater Highland Methodist Church. They started their relationship as best friends and have been married for 43 sweet years. Together, they have 2 sons: Ryan and Aaron. Next to her children, her most valued treasures are her dachshund dogs.Kathy retired this March from UMC after 16 years as the director of Children’s Miracle Network; a job she cherished due to her love for the families and the children. She worked hard her entire life, up until the very end. She made a difference in the lives of many.Kathy lived her life making people laugh, serving others, and always had a smile on her face and a prank up her sleeve. Kathy found her happiness in the mountains, Six Flags, Texas Tech football games, traveling with Mack, and sitting on her back porch watching the rain with a glass of chillable red wine.We will remember her warmth, her laughter, her love for family and friends, and the way she made each and every one of us feel like the most special person in the world.Survivors include her husband, Mack Reasoner; sons, Ryan Reasoner and Aly, and Aaron Reasoner and Alanah; stepsons, Lance and wife Kim, and Jerry and wife Vicky; brother, Bob (Sue) Rowlett; and her fur babies, Daisy, Zoey and Jordan.
