Kathleen Mie Kolas was born April 22, 1949, to Harold and Mildred (Smith) Ryan in Nagoya, Japan. She married Justin Augustine Kolas on June 11, 1967, in El Paso, Texas.

Kathleen is survived by her sons, Travis Kolas, and Keith Kolas; brothers, James Ryan and Daniel Ryan; brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Paula Kolas and sister-in-law, Laurie Ryan.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Justin; and brothers, Harold Ryan, Jr. and Don Ryan.
