Justin Bridges Kotarski was born in Norman, Oklahoma on November 5, 1975 to Bob and Sharon Kotarski. He spent his formative years in Ft. Worth, Texas attending St. Andrews grade school and Pascall High School. The family moved to El Paso, Texas in 1992 when Justin was a sophomore in High School, where he met his future wife, Jennifer Chapman at Coronado High School.

Justin and Jennifer settled in Lubbock, Texas where they had three children. These children were the center of Justin’s world. He loved them unconditionally. Bridges A. Kotarski, 21, is a recent graduate of Baylor University. One of Justin’s last outings was to attend Bridges’ graduation. He could not have been prouder. Joey, 10 is a carbon copy of Justin. Ellie, 7 was Justin’s “baby girl”.

Justin was the co-owner of KD Motors with dear friend, Tim Murphy. Justin was also an avid Shriner for over 20 years. Justin also loved to golf, although his ability was questioned by those who played with him. He was part of a group called “The Duffers”. Justin will be dearly missed and never forgotten by all who knew him.

Justin is survived by his wife, Jennifer Kotarski Chapman; 3 children Bridges, Joey, and Ellie; Mother, Sharon Bridges Kotarski; Father Bob Kotarski and stepmother Ann; brother Jon Kotarski, and wife Leigh Anne; brother Trey Kotarski and fiancé Liat; sister Tessia Kotarski Smith and husband Russell. Justin will also be sorely missed by nieces Ashlyn Kotarski (Jon), Chloe Smith (Tessia): nephews, Jon Robert Kotarski (Jon) and Parker Smith (Tessia).

Justin, 49, passed away on December 24, 2024.
