Judy Fay Patterson, 75, beloved Wife and Mother, passed away peacefully on January 20th, 2025, in Lubbock, TX. Judy entered this world on June 10th, 1949, in Seymour, TX, born to Odessa and O.R. “Rhew” Garner.
Judy was a devoted mother and proud grandmother who found joy in every moment spent with her family, always chasing after her kids and later her grandkids with love and energy. She was known for her contagious smile and being Terry’s beautiful brown eyed girl. She was passionate about the outdoors, loving the mountains and trout streams. Her faith was the foundation of her life, and she dedicated herself to her church, teaching Sunday school with a deep passion for sharing the gospel. Judy also dedicated much of her time to supporting local charitable organizations, always eager to lend a helping hand to those in need. Her spirit of kindness, generosity, and love for her community will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years Terry Patterson; children, Amanda Leigh Womble and husband Dane of Lubbock, TX, Adam Garner Patterson and wife Angela of Spicewood, TX, and Whitney Elizabeth Carlstone of Frisco, TX; eight grandchildren, Kaitlin Womble, Emma Claire Womble, Bentley Patterson and wife Ellie, Berkley Patterson, Banin Patterson, Baelyn Patterson, Strohm Carlstone, and Shepherd Carlstone; mother-in-law, Jonell Patterson; brother-in-law, Randy Patterson; cousins, Jamie Land, Tamera Crozier and husband Dan, and Cindy McWhorter; nephews, Mike Dobson and wife Kacy, Mark Dobson and wife Laurie, and Greg Dobson; and nieces, Carla Burttram and husband Robert, and Kellye Patterson.
