The family of Judy Carpenter will celebrate her life of 74 years at 10:00 AM on Friday, May 13, 2022, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. Her family will host a time of fellowship and remembrance from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, May 12, 2022, at Lake Ridge Chapel. She passed on Monday, May 9, 2022. On August 17, 1947, Judy Annette Green was born to Roland and Odeene (Newton) Green in Haskell, TX. She married her sweetheart, Derrell Carpenter on August 7, 1981, in Lubbock. Together they raised 3 children. She loved going on trips with her honey and spending time with her family.

Judy is survived by her children, Jill Rose, Jennifer McCarty, and Jason Shive; grandchildren, Kambrey Bailey, Kynsie Johns, Karrson Rose, Brooke, and Hunter Waters, Austin McCarty, Chase Shive, and Bryson Shive and fiancé, Hadleigh Garza; great-grandchildren, Allisyn Espenschied, Laken Waters and Beckham Shive; cousins, Nelda, Linda, Woncile, Lisa and Sherry and very close friends Betty, Albert, and Mark.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Derrell Carpenter; father, Roland Green; mother, Odeene Green; daughter, Dawn Shive; and brother, Larry Green.
