Juanita Hernandez Chadis

February 12, 1927 - March 21, 2018

Juanita Hernandez Chadis passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2018. We will gather for fellowship and remembrance from 7 to 9 PM, today March 23, 2018 with a prayer service followed by visitation at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life of 91 years on Saturday, March 24, 2018, at 10 AM at Lake Ridge Chapel. 

Juanita was born on February 12, 1927 to Alejandro and Herlinda (Luna) Hernandez in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico. On February 18, 1961 she married Frank Chadis in Eagle Pass, Texas. She was a devout Christian and a member of Broadway Church of Christ. Juanita was also a proud American citizen.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank; son, George Chadis; grandson, David Chadis; five sisters, Petra Vasquez, Rosa Garza, Henriqueta Rodriguez, Virginia Mendoza, and Esparanza Segovia, and two brothers, Enrique Hernandez and Jorge Hernandez.

Juanita is survived by her three children, Diana Reyes and husband, Eduardo; David Chadis and wife, Ester; and Perla Chadis; eleven grandchildren, Eric Chadis, Jesse Reyes, Marc Reyes, Andrea Vensuela, Marissa Chadis, Adrian Chadis, Stephen Jaime, Anessa Chadis, Mateo Reyes, Andres Chadis and Esmeralda Chadis; and nine great-grandchildren, Ariana, Isabella, Eleana, Sophie, Tripp, Ezekiel, Perla, Ezra, and Eduardo; and two sisters, Lupe and Carmen Hernandez.
