It is with heavy hearts and a deep sense of loss that we announce the passing of our beloved son, Joshua Fabien Bustos Jr., who was gifted to us on March 19, 2002. On September 28, 2024, he took his final ride at the age of 22, doing what he loved most—riding motorcycles.
Joshua, or “Baby J” as we lovingly called him, will be dearly missed by his parents, Joshua and Shirald, his sisters Aliyah, Ivanna, and Melina, his nieces Aralynn and Catalina, his nephews Lennox and Felix, and his fur son and buddy, Oliver. He leaves a void in our hearts along with the cherished memories we will forever hold dear.
Graduating from Frenship High School in 2020, Baby J pursued his passion for plumbing, working as an apprentice in the field. He was also a talented pool player, finding joy and camaraderie in the game. His love for sharing the word of God was a testament to his faith and belief in Jesus Christ, a quality that touched many lives around him without hesitation.
Baby J had a knack for the outdoors; whether it was riding his motorcycle, grilling, or even the time he won a bow and arrow at a party, his excitement was infectious. While his aim with the bow may have led to a memorable mishap, it was a moment filled with laughter and love.
As we gather to say our final goodbyes, let us remember Baby J for his contagious smile, warm hugs, and all the ways in which he enriched our lives. Rest in peace, dear Joshua, you will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
Joshua was preceded in death by his Grandpa Juan Andre’s; aunt: Emmylou Bustos, Great-Grandparents Jesus Rodriguez and Agapita Castillo; and his fur best friend Roman
