Joseph was a fun-loving, hard-working, intelligent young man that made a difference in the lives of all he met. Ben and Lisa’s lives were blessed in September 2002 by baby Joseph. He hit the ground running, determined to live life to the fullest even then. He loved sports, fast cars, and making everyone laugh. His hug could turn even the most challenging days brighter, and his heart of gold will never be forgotten. He was active in his community, volunteer programs like the Food ministries, and his Church. He dedicated his time and skills to work on the technology side of the praise and worship team. Joey graduated from Ruidoso High School in May of 2021, where he lettered in Varsity wrestling four times, starting in the 8th grade. As a new freshman in college at UNM, he joined a fraternity; Sigma Alpha Epsilon serving as Eminent Preceptor and Recruitment Chair while contributing as a founding father for the New Mexico Tau Chapter, and Army ROTC as an MS1 with plans to be fully contracted the next academic year all while studying computer engineering. He is leaving behind his parents, Ben and Lisa Morales, Princess, the mother of his son Ezekiel. Siblings and their spouses, Ashley and Kyle, Brandi and Joni, Michael, Michelle, Destiny, and Niko. Grandparents Nick and Vila Lopez. As well as aunts, uncles, cousins, and many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Armando and Tomasa Morales, great grandparents Richard and Beatrice Garcia, and other loved ones. When his family thinks of him, they will always think of love. Joseph was love.
