He married Dorothy Marie Hargrave on Easter Sunday, April 1, 1945, in Lubbock.Mac owned and operated Mac Acoustical for over twenty years. After he retired from construction, he worked as a security guard for City Bank and other establishments. He was a member of Southcrest Baptist Church and the Bryant/Pinkerton life group. He served in the US Army and was a 32nd degree Mason.Survivors include his children, Tom (Kristi) McCrummen, Roy McCrummen; Pop’s grandchildren, Michael (Tina) McCrummen, Jeffrey (Kara) McCrummen, Daniel (Krystal) McCrummen, Chris (Melissa) McCrummen, Jennifer “Jenny” McCrummen; great-grandchildren, Taylor McCrummen, Gradyn McCrummen, Sydnie McCrummen, Cecil “Curly” McCrummen, Charlotte McCrummen, Nolan McCrummen, and one great-great-grandson Bentley McCrummen; siblings, Betty McCandless and Kay Cross; and Chris and Jenny’s mother, Barbara McCrummen.He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy McCrummen; father, Wilburn McCrummen; and mother, Lorena Damron.
