It is with great sadness that Joe and Jennifer Garza, son and daughter of Angelica and Joe Garza, tragically died on January 7, 2021. We will host a vigil prayer service on Saturday, January 16, 2021, at 6:00 pm, followed by a time of fellowship at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. A service to celebrate their lives is scheduled at 2:00 pm Sunday, January 17, 2021, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. The siblings will be laid to rest at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at the City of Lubbock Cemetery. In support of their family’s health, seating is limited to 100 seats, face coverings are mandatory, and the staff will enforce social distancing in compliance with state regulations. These precautions are to ensure that the family and our community are safe. The service will be live-streamed on this page where you are encouraged to sign the virtual guestbook and share memories and expressions of sympathy.Joe and Jennifer were both born to Joe and Angelica Garza in Lubbock, Texas. Their family would tell you that they were practically inseparable since they were little. Joe and Jennifer were known to be kind, loving, happy, caring, and genuine individuals who were full of life.Jennifer was a great mother, always striving to do her best for her three young girls, provide them with the necessities they need in life, and guide them toward opportunities in their future – all while being empathetic towards complete strangers with her helping hand.Joe was known as a hard-working dad who loved his kids tremendously, and even though he was quiet at times, his charm, wit, and ability to have a great time made him loved by many.Joe is survived by his children, Josiah, Uriah, Draya, and Javian Garza; Jennifer is survived by her children Averi, Aubree, and Alaiya Gonzalez;Both siblings are survived by their parents, Joe Garza, Angelica Garza, and stepfather Jorge Ariciaga; siblings, Ashley Garza, Jorge and Omar Ariciaga; grandparents, Gonzalo Perez, Graciela Guerrero, and Gloria Garza.
