Jo Anne Hill

JoAnne Williams Hill went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, September 14, 2016. Her husband was by her side holding her hand when she passed. JoAnne was born on September 19, 1950, to Col. Robert H. and Virginia Bledsoe Williams in Fort Riley, Kansas. She received a degree in nursing from Angelo State University in San Angelo Texas. On December 27, 1989, she married the love of her life, Dr. Gerald Hill in Lubbock where they resided for 27 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Col. Robert H. and Virginia Williams; and brother, Robert Williams. She is survived by her husband, Dr. Gerald Lennon Hill; children, Lisa Dawn Tankersley and husband Douglas of Mertzon Texas, Rodney Don Benson and wife Tracy of St. Onge South Dakota, and Gerald Luke Hill of Lubbock; grandchildren, Brent and Haley West, Kelsey, Brody and Avery Benson, and Ryan Hill; sister Margo Benge.The family would like to thank Hospice of Lubbock, Calvert Home Care, and a special thanks to Laurie and Victoria for their exceptional care of JoAnne.
