Jill enjoyed her early childhood in Maine and New Hampshire with her mother, brother, sister, and loving stepfather, Joe Notturno. The Notturno family pulled up roots and made Lubbock their home in 1974. Jill graduated from Monterey High School and studied interior design at Texas Tech. She was secretary for St. Paul’s Episcopal Church and then served as a beloved employee of the Covenant Health System for 25 years.

Jill lived a life full of love, exuberance, and caring for others. She brightened any room she entered and always engaged with everyone. She had a passion for hosting and entertaining and she did so with a flair unmatched by just about anyone. Her truest love, though, was her family. Even in her final months, while battling illness, she was constantly thinking of her daughters’ concerns above her own.

Jill is survived by her husband, Terry Holeman, daughters Jessica Eileen Holeman, and Megan Elizabeth Holeman; her siblings, Bill (Melissa) Notturno, and Beth (Robert) Olsen. She is also survived by her aunt, Jan (Walter) Virginski, as well as cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her natural father, Thomas Hollinback, and her parents, Jeannine and Joseph Notturno.

She died on Friday, December 16, 2022, with her family by her side.

My love and condolences to Terry, Jessica and Meghan. My heart cries with you as you grieve this precious woman. Jill and I worked side by side for many years at Methodist and then Covenant. She blessed my days and the days of everyone she met with her beautiful smile and joyful personality. I loved her dearly. She made it possible for my work days to be endurable the last 5 years we worked together. Her loving spirit was always there to help everyone she worked with. She will be missed greatly in this world, but I feel confident I will see her again one day. I will be praying that The Lord gives comfort to all those who are going through the grieving process. Jill, a wonderful and precious life.

Prayers for my Niece Jill Holeman. We of the San Felice family were lifelong friends of the Nurturno, Burrows and Holeman families. I was proud to have done the wedding photos many years ago for Jill and Terry and her mother Jeannine and I grew up on Steffin Hill Beaver Falls, PA and were friends for 71 years. We will always remember Jill and her infectious smile and laugh and the parties at their house when we would come down from Maryland for Christmas! She will always be missed and we are so sorry for everyone's loss who knew her.

Jill always had a smile and loved life. I know she is dancing with her momma . She will be missed in the yard behind our house on her many visits.
