Daddy saved the day one hot 🔥 day by putting out a garage fire across the street at the Johnson's. Ray was saved from burning alive because Daddy ran to the rescue and used a water hose to put out the fire deep in the neighbor'sgarage.. Ray apologized and thanked Daddy for helping him put out a fire he could not put out on his own because he was trapped inside the corner of the garage where it started. The smoke inhalation got to Daddy, but he was so happy to help in time of need. I love you and miss you every day and night. You are my guiding star and your memory lives on.

Daddy’s sense of humor & love of math was legendary. When a person asked, “how many children do you have?” He replied with a straight face, “We have five daughters and each of them has a brother.”

Primos and Tia Carmela, praying that the peace of God that surpasses all understanding and the comfort of the Holy Spirit fill your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. We love you all and loved Tio very much. I remember when he and Tia went to see Mom after dad passed away. My dad's dog got very excited when she saw your dad coming into the house in a wheelchair. She thought it was dad. She used to sit underneath dad's wheelchair, so she went and smelled your dad, and i think she knew it wasn't him, but she stayed under your dad's until he left. Praying for you all
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

I have so many fond memories of my beloved Tio Chuy. He was a very hard working, God-loving family-dedicated man who always put his family first. He would always visit me when I lived in Dallas and we would go out for lunch or dinner. I appreciated his visits very much and was always happy to see him. I will miss you very much Tio. Rest in peace.
