Obituary

The family of Jeanie Faye Klopp will celebrate her life of 75 years at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 24, 2021, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. Her family will also host a reception to follow after the service. She passed on Sunday, June 20, 2021. On April 1, 1946, Jeanie was born to the late Davis and Lois Bishop in Ralls, TX.  Jeanie grew up and went to school in Shallowater, Texas.  She was a dedicated homemaker and mother before her entrepreneur spirit took over.  She was an exceptional businesswoman and owned Gresham’s boutique and started the original Gift Baskets in Lubbock with two friends.  After retiring from her own businesses, she worked at Girling Home Heath and donated her time to many charities including Meals on Wheels, Lakeridge Methodist meals program and served as the HOA president in her community.

Jeanie was the most amazing mother and Granna.  She loved spending time with her grandkids and came to every event they had.  Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy.  She was a great friend to many and an exceptional wife to Rich for almost 40 years.

Survivors include her husband, Richard Klopp; children, Mindi (Randy) Kitten, and Chad Woodruff; grandchildren, Alyssa Jones, Holland McClendon, Jacob Woodruff, Garrett Kitten, and Addi Kitten, and 1 great-grandchild, and siblings, Dwain (June) Bishop, Donny (Susan) Bishop, Jimmy Bishop; and Kay (Bob) Dopson.
