We had the privilege of meeting Mrs. Floyd through their business, Floyd Trucking. She became a fast friend. She had a way of making us feel truly cared for and was always interested in what was going on in our life. She was such a special lady. I miss her laugh, her intelligence, and her love for God and for everyone she knew. Our condolences and prayers for Mr. Floyd, their family and friends.Debbie & David Ray

Oh Jean. I loved her so much. Jean and O.E. were in my choir at Trinity Church in Lubbock for many years. I loved her quick wit and her deep love of God as she sung. O.E., my prayers are with you, Sir. It has been an honor to know and love you both.

I didn’t have the pleasure of meeting Jean, but I have known Juanita, her sister, for 27 years. I know through Juanita that she was a very special Lady. I so wish I could be there with you Juanita, but the “miles” keep me from it. Dear God hold Juanita, her husband, her family and friends in your comforting arms... until we meet again.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Several years ago I met Jean and O.E. when I became the insurance agent for Floyd Trucking Co, Inc. From the very beginning of our relationship it was obvious that they were Christian people and our relationship grew to be one of friends in Christ. Jean was such a sweet lady to deal with but even as a very strong business person her Christianity shown through at all times. She did not have to flaunt her Christianity. It came though in a natural way, the way we are taught that it should be. She and O.E. were a pleasure to deal with. I use to say that I loved making friends out of clients, but I would never try to make a friend a client. In the case of the Floyds I made some dear friends. Jean is truely with Christ today and will be doing as the Lord leads her.Bill DealGeorgetown, Texas

We are in Kyle Texas where her sister Juanita lives. We never met Jean but after reading her obit we surely missed a wonderful person. Juanita certainly carries on Jeans loves and legacy for life and for that we will remember her sister Jean. All our condolences from central Texas and may the soul of Jean Rest In Peace.

Jean was a special lady. I was privileged to serve as her pastor for almost 10 years and will always remember her calling me "preacher." She was always there with an encouraging word. Lisa and I will be out of town this weekend and won't be able to attend the service; however, each of you will be in our thoughts and prayers. O.E and family, we love you.
