Obituary
James Harold Brackeen was born on April 17, 1940, to Joe and Nellie Brackeen in Wills Point, Texas. He passed away on August 4, 2021.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia of 29 years; a son, James Brackeen, Jr. (Lesa); daughter, Katie Brackeen (John Truelove); stepsons, James Grace, Tadd Knight (Scotta); and stepdaughter, Tamara Bownds. Grandchildren; Allison Truelove, Kristin Grace, Jim Grace, Lindsey Young, Brice Bownds (Autumn), Cameron Knight, Kristen Farquhar (Gary) and Melissa Hazelwood. Eight great-grandchildren and sisters; Wanda Jacobs and Jackie Pollei (Lee); and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father; brother, Joe Brackeen, Jr.; sisters, Mary Lee Chaney and Billie Love.
The family of James Harold Brackeen will celebrate his life of 81 years at 2:00 pm on Monday, August 23, 2021, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers.
