Jacquetta was one of the nicest people I had the pleasure of meeting. Our paths crossed when I was working reception at a medical facility. She surprised me one afternoon with my very own crocheted blanket! It is very special and so was she. My condolences to her family, friends and loved ones.

I am so sorry for your loss of Mike and Jackie. Jackie was my best friend through high school and beyond. I live out of town but would try to visit her and Mike when I was visiting family in Lubbock. She will definitely be missed in my heart. Vicki Armstrong Sutton

We were saddened to hear of Jacque’s passing. My wife and I had the pleasure of knowing her during her time with the Lubbock County Clerk’s Office. She was always kind, gracious, and a joy to work with — someone who made a lasting impression. Our thoughts are with her family and loved ones during this time. May her memory continue to bring comfort and light. With sincere sympathy, Sammy & Sara Smith

Jacquetta was a special longtime friend to me. We lived 2 blocks from each other when we both lived on 7th Street. We went to Thompson Jr High and Lubbock High together. We shared a lot of fun memories during our 60 plus years. She was such a loyal LHS Westerner and loved working on our high school reunions. She always wanted to work at the receptionist table at the reunions so she could personally greet all the classmates first when they arrived. We'll meet again in Heaven sweet friend, and I can imagine you sitting at the reception table welcoming everyone in. Jacquetta loved her husband and family so much and talked about all her family every time we were together. She was proud of each and every one of you. Jacquetta, you will be missed. Rest in peace sweet friend.
