Jackie was born September 2, 1950, in Oceanside, California, the third daughter of seven children. She was raised in a military family, so she was able to experience living in several different states as a child. She became a permanent resident in Lubbock Texas, in 1964 where she attended Wilson jr. High, and met her best friend Barbara Ford, and they remain friends till this day. She graduated from Coronado High, in 1969, then went on to attend South Plains College in Levelland, Texas.
She married and had 2 children, Brock Moore and Tracy McAlister. She worked for Texas Instruments, Gene Messer, and finished her career at Covenant Medical Center.
Jackie loved to read and watch golf and football on TV.
She was an avid seamstress until she fell in love with buying fabric and piecing quilts, and most of all going to Patty’s Heart, to sew and visit with all her friends.
Jackie is survived by her daughter, Tracy (Mike) McAlister, Sisters, Debbie (James) McKinzie, and Robbie (Tom) Laws, of Grapeland, TX, Brother, Steve (Tresa) Oldham, of Bella Vista AR, Brother in Law, Barry Edwards, 4 Grandchildren, Miranda (Jon) Hutson, Jacob (Cassie Caudill) Fowler, Braedon McAlister and Logan Wright. Great Granddaughter, Madi Fowler. As well as many cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.
Jackie is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Margaret Oldham, Son, Brock Moore, Sister, Carol Edwards, Brothers, Mack and Gary Oldham.
