David Gray left a message on June 23, 2025:
I was blessed enough to work with Isabel at Ballenger Early Childhood school. It was my first year and I worked in her pod. I remember how helpful and patient she was with me. As a new teacher she showed me the way. Over these past few years she subbed at my current school Parsons. We had so many great talks. I remember her telling me so many times that I just need to trust in Jesus. I am so sorry for your loss. I will miss her so much, she was a true blessing to me.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Melodia and family, Your Mom was the sunshine the Lubbock League of Women Voters needed as our membership aged. She absolutely energized us. I know the path you are traveling as my mom died 24 May 2025. Hugs, lots of hugs. The path is hard but passable. I hope that your Mom and Dad are dancing with my parents with smiles on their faces and love in their hearts. Melanie

She was a kind and beautiful friend. I admired her faith and boldness to praise His name. What I’ll always remember the most about her is her love for music and how she was always trying to live by the Word. May she rest in peace.
