Imogene Tipton

Imogene was born on December 18, 1926, to William and Mattie North in Aspermont, TX.  She graduated from Post High School and attended Wayland Baptist College. On December 26, 1947, Imogene married the love of her life, Dr. T. H. Tipton. In 1953, they established his dental practice in Lubbock where they worked together until retirement in 1988. She was a member of Southcrest Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, T. H.; parents; eight siblings, Catherine Cox, Van North, Wenona Porter, W.T. North, Evelyn Hadley, Fern Armes, Sue Dodson, and Melva Fry. 
Imogene is survived by a sister, Mary Jo Williams. She is also survived by her niece, Cathy Fry and husband, David as well as many other nieces and nephews who were all very special to her.
