So glad I could watch this online. Prayers for the family Aunt Hilda and Uncle Jack were always there for my dad. He had his own demons but they loved him always Thanks for that❤️

I was one of the adopted grandchildren, blessed by grandma Hilda and pap Jack - I loved being called Mija and knowing grandma was praying for me. I loved how papa Jack brought back the nostalgia of eating ham sandwiches on white bread. But I’m just thankful for their lives and the blessing it was to know them. Praying for family and friends in the time of grieving.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Grandma Hilda, We wish you could have met Izaiah but we know you’re watching over him as well as chase and I. You were always able to give us a smile on our faces as soon as you walked in the room and you gave us the greatest hugs that made us feel so safe with you. We only wish we could have had more time with you but we know that you are no longer suffering and thriving up there with papa jack. We love you both and you’ll forever be missed. ❤️

Hilda was a great friend who would listen and give you advise. She lived close to my sister and every chance we got we would visit her or she would come over to Hope’s house and I would see her there. One day she asked me if I knew how to make chiles rellenos, I said I had never even had them. She said she would make me some and she did. Ever since then I’ve been making them with the recipe she gave me and I think about her every time I make them. May she Rest In Peace!

I want to express my condolences to Hilda's family. I have known her for many years since we both lived in Lamesa Texas. Her dad was an excellent carpenter, built my mom's kitchen cabinets so long ago. Hilda was a good example of a Christian. I admired her and appreciated her friendship. RIP.
