A service to celebrate the life of Herman A. Teinert’s 90 plus years of life is scheduled at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 11, 2022, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. Herman August Teinert was born December 8, 1931, to Alvin and Matilda Lehmann Teinert in Anton, TX. He was baptized at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Littlefield Texas, on December 20, 1931. He was confirmed in March 1945, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Warda Texas. His confirmation verse was, “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall, I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” Psalm 27: 1. Herman married Joy Kieschnick on July 23, 1955 at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Lubbock, Texas. He served in the U.S. Army from July 14, 1951, until July 1, 1954, and fought in the Korean War. Herman was employed in the steel business for 48 years and retired in March 2005. His greatest pleasure was spending time with his family.
Herman is survived by his wife, Joy Teinert; children, Karen (Gary) Lane, Randy (Elizabeth) Teinert; grandchildren, Marnee Lane, Kristin (Aaron) Boles, Derek (Shaina) Lane, Logan (Jaclyn) Teinert; great-grandchildren, Hardy Teinert, Holden Teinert, Lena Boles, and soon to arrive, Sutton Lane; and his only surviving brother, Billy Roy (Sandy) Teinert.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Matilda Teinert; siblings, Martin Teinert, Evelyn Lorenz, Ludwig Teinert, Alvin Jr. Teinert.
