Harriett Lee (Sheppard) Glazebrook, 89, passed away on Wednesday, July 17th in Leander, TX.
She was born in Oklahoma City on March 18, 1935 to Frank and Rose (Kagen) Sheppard. Her birth father passed away when she was very young and she considered her step-father, George Fedorko, her real father. She attended Central High School and graduated in 1953. She married William Douglas Glazebrook on May 29, 1953. As an Air Force wife, she lived in several locations around the world including North Dakota, Alaska, Oklahoma, Italy and Texas. She lived in Lubbock since 1970 and worked at the ceramics shop on Reese AFB for many years. She was an avid crafter and enjoyed ceramics, oil painting, sewing, knitting, and crocheting. She was also very active in the Catholic Church and a long-time parishioner of St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Lubbock.
She is preceded in death by her husband William (1995), her daughter Lisa (2001), and her sister Joan Ebrite. She is survived by her daughters, Devony (David) Norris of Eastland, Karen (Manny) Guaman of Smithville, AL, and son Kevin (Kevin Lagace) Glazebrook of Leander. She has four grandchildren, Davina Jaggard, Danielle (Scott) Harper, Drew Guaman, and Rory Guaman and eight great grandchildren, Jolene, Stephen, Natalie, Evelyn, Kennedy, Nelson, Corrina, and Veronica.
She will be laid to rest next to her husband and daughter in Resthaven Cemetery in Lubbock.
