Prayers for wife,Ellen, children, and grandchildren as they lose someone very close to them. May God give you strength and comfort as you deal with the grief you are experiencing. We know he is without pain and with loved ones that have gone before him but we will all miss him.Harold was a "Cactus Rat" just like those of us who grew up together in the Cactus community. We went through 1st through 12th grades together. He was so friendly and likeable. Our families were friends and often did things together. We have kept in touch over the years. He often emailed Sheron and I to see how we were. He was like a brother to us. We will miss him.May God give you peace and comfort. Love,Karen Hodges Rhynard

I am so sorry for your loss. Harold & Helen were such great friends. He was so patient with me when I worked for him ( I know now I not very good at). I am praying for the family and may God Bless during this time.

I lost track of Harold many years ago but I have fond memories of him. I was in his class at Dumas High School and knew him there. But in the fall of 1966 I reconnected with Harold at Tech. I don't remember how he found me but he did. Harold was having trouble with an Accounting class and came to my dorm room several times to see if I could help him. The material was not new to me because of a class I had taken in High School but it was new to Harold. So my reason for telling you this was that I felt like I failed Harold. He was having a mental block about some of it and I just could not find a way to communicate the darn stuff to help him. This was a serious issue back in 1966 because of the Vietnam War. Harold was worried about that but his happy, fun loving spirit was always there. I never forgot him or the experience of getting to know him better. I am very sorry for your loss. I don't know how anyone could help but like Harold.

Ellen , Sydney and I just heard about Harold. We are so very sorry. He was a wonderful man. We valued our friendship. Wish we had had more time together. But he will be entering the gates of Glory and will be healed from all physical pain. He was a man of courage and wish we were more like him! He will be here in our hearts until one day we will see him again. Cheryl simmons.
