Harold C. Stone

Harold C. Stone was born on January 26, 1933 to the late Marion and Ruth (Best) Stone in Douthat, OK.  On November 25, 1965 he married Barbara Hogg in Lamesa, Tx.   He received his education from Jacksonville

Baptist Theological Seminary.  He spent his life serving the Lord and pastoring in East Texas and Lamesa.  Harold never met a stranger and spread the good news of Jesus with everyone one he came in contact with until the last

days of his life.  Harold was a student of the Bible and enjoyed his time reading and studying.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Barbara Stone; a daughter, Taleta Smith and husband Robert of

Lubbock; and a son, Kirk Staggs and wife Vickie of Hobbs, NM; seven grandchildren, Amber Hughes and husband Greg of Plano, Cody Derington and wife Wendy of Lubbock,  Robert Smith, III and wife Amanda of San Angelo, Christopher Smith and wife Sarah of San Angelo, Heather Johnson and husband Tommy of Greenwood, Ashley Brunner and husband Warren of Hobbs, NM, and Lance Staggs and wife Sabrina of Lubbock; 21 great-grandchildren; a sister, Vera Walker of Odessa; a sister-in-law, Jerry Tarbet; and two brothers-in-law, Kenneth Hogg  of Lamesa and Nelson Hogg of Lubbock; also many nieces and nephews.
