I would need to have possession of a larger vocabulary to be able to express how good of a man Harley was. He not only took care of his family but, he took care of anyone that was in a 100 mile radius that needed a little help I definitely under appreciated him, and really the whole family. They are the nicest people I ever had the privilege of being around. Dusty R Brown

It was a privilege and blessing to have Harley as my brother-in-law for the last 30 years. He was unfailingly polite, hospitable, and kind. Although sometimes quiet, he usually had something interesting to say and was a pleasure to be around. I admire that he worked hard and was a good provider for his family. His children, Amber and Autumn, are a credit to him, showing his good influence on them. His life was indeed a life well lived, and he will be very much missed. My deepest sympathies to you, Brantley, in your loss, and also to Amber and Autumn and their families. Much love sent to you all. May God's comfort and peace be with you.

Praying for you, Brantley, as well as all your family. You and Harley have always been the most loving and special couple that we've met at The Heights. It's hard to think of any one thing that stands out, but......Harley had the most beautiful voice! We loved sitting close to you guys at church just so we could hear him singing! Take peace and comfort in knowing that he's using that beautiful voice now to sing with the angels. He'll be missed.
Rose Gibson left a message on April 23, 2020:
Harley and I are in a Cornelsen group of 44 first cousins. We all loved each other and shared such good times at family reunions and family visits over the years. His dad Hank, and my mother, Agnes, were very close. I have always admired Hank so much and Harley was truly his father's son. He was a little quiet and even a little shy but he was the most friendly, gracious person you could ever know. I am so glad he had such a wonderful wife and such great children and grandchildren. It's been a pleasure seeing all the love and connection. He also had a very special connection with his sister and brother. I think we have all witnessed a great life lived. God bless Harley and all his family. Love to you all, Mark and Rose Gibson

Janice Johnson left a message on April 23, 2020:
I had the privilege to be Harley's older sister. Growing up together, playing, helping our parents, attending church and visiting our family, Harley had a smile. In all activities, Harley always performed with a positive attitude and happy heart. His grades were most always "A's" and he worked as a sacker at Ideal with our Dad as a teenager. There is no one else like this brother as he was a one of a kind type person who was kind to all he knew. Harley now has a new body and mind. For those of us left behind may these words be helpful. In Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds".
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
