Guadalupe Prieto, a lifelong resident of Lubbock was born on May 20, 1956 to Sotero and Cliophas (Hernandez) Ursua. She was a homemaker, a devoted mother and a Catholic.  Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Selestino Ursua.
Guadalupe is survived by her loving husband of 23 years, James Prieto, three children, Benita Alvarez, Baldemar Quinones, and Simon Quinones all of Lubbock; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Andrew Ursua, Manuel Ursua; and four sisters, Paz Moreno, Dominga Ursua, Mary Castillo, Cruz Cadena; five step-daughters; thirteen step-grandchildren, and two step great-grandchildren.
