A memorial service to celebrate the life of Perry McCandless 59 years of life, is scheduled at 6:00pm on Tuesday September 19th 2023 at The Lonestar Cowboy Church in Lubbock. He passed away September 15th, 2023
Perry McCandless was born December 10, 1963, to Glenn and Betty McCandless in Lubbock TX. He attended Lubbock Cooper where he loved playing baseball and football. He graduated in 1983.
Perry had a big heart and great sense of humor. He was known for being protective of his family and loved ones, He had a very colorfull life ….. Perry had a passion for construction and spent his entire life working in the field. He started in business with his father and later went on to establish his own business. Perry’s dedication and hard work were evident throughout his career.
In his free time, Perry enjoyed woodworking and refurbishing cars and spending time with family and friends. Perry had a deep appreciation for hunting and anything guns,
Perry will be deeply missed by his surviving family members, including his mother, Betty McCandless, his brother, Roddney McCandless of Michigan, his sister Nanette and her husband Jay Bob Binder of Robertson , his nephews Glen McCandless and Corbin Binder, and his nieces Crystal and husband Cody Jenkins of Hale Center, LaTasha McCandless, and Kylan Binder. He is also survived by great nephews and nieces, and aunts and uncles.
He is preceded in death by his father, Glenn McCandless; grandparents, John and Effie McCandless and Buster and Dee Damron; and brother, Garland Gaddy.
Perry McCandless will be remembered for his kind heart, sense of humor and ddediction to his craft. His legacy will live on in the hearts and memories of those who knew and loved him.
