It was a privilege and an honor to have known you for the little time that I have. You are an amazing woman you are cherished by your loved ones and loved by your high school sweetheart. I really don't know how to put things into words of how I feel but I can tell you one thing I grown to adore you I loved our morning conversations and always calling you sunshine cuz you always brighten up my day. You would truly be missed it doesn't feel the same without you here I still go to your room every time I come to work and I still say good morning sunshine even though I know you're not there but I still continue to tell you that thank you for all the love all the laughter all the conversations it's a Memory I will never forget especially trying to put you in your chair just the way you like it with no wrinkles on your blankets I'm going to miss that about you thank you for coming into my life even though it was short-lived but I loved it every moment Fly High My Sunshine you will be missed

Gerri and husband Herb Craghead together created an example of a loving, devoted couple and attentive parents which has served as a model for all of us privileged to know them. Gentle but firm, classy but not stuffy, Gerri possessed a wry and incisive sense of humor we enjoyed greatly. Another remarkable asset she had was her non-judgmental demeanor. We never heard her say an unkind word about anyone, nor talk down to anyone.
Gerri was an absolute treasure. Although we miss her already, Gerri will continue to inspire us to be our best selves as we remember her always. We love you!
