Frankie attended and graduated from Lubbock-Cooper High School. He went on to cosmetology school, and then eventually became a hairdresser. He worked at many places in Lubbock before eventually moving to Dallas for a few years. He lived there with Mr. and Mrs. Lomas for a time. He gained many friends there who he also lived with. Eventually, he moved to Midland-Odessa where he remained before his passing. Through all those years, he obtained many clients, some clients had their hair done with him for 15+ years. Frankie was loving, caring, compassionate, and very honest. The two biggest things in his life were the casino and his family, especially his mother. He was always spending time, and money, on his family; they will truly miss him.

Survivors include his parents, Francisco and Maria Lopez; siblings,  Anita Lopez, Cindy (Joel) Vasquez, Chriselda (Raul) Huichapa; nieces and nephews, Oscar Rene (Breanna) Reyna, Nathan (Whitney Gould) Reyna, Brittany Rangel, Celeste Rangel, Adrian Huichapa, Yesenia Jazmin Huichapa; great-nieces and nephews, Serenity Reyna, and Aiden Reyna.
