I’ve known Francisco for more than 10 years. I’ve been out of town and just heard of his passing 😔. He always made me laugh with his quick humor. I never saw him get upset or frustrated - he was always calm and found humor in every situation. I will miss him. My condolences to his family, who he always talked proudly of.

You were my strength when I was weak. You were my voice when I couldn't speak. You were my eyes when I couldn't see. You saw the best there was in me. Lifted me up when I couldn't reach. You gave me faith 'cause you believed. I was blessed because I was loved by you. You made such a big impact in my life. You were the father I never had but always wanted. Your family welcoming me in with open arms was one of the best things that ever happened to me. You taught me how to shoot a gun, how to stick up for myself, to never care about what anyone thinks & most importantly you taught me “no excuses” get the job done when it came to life or work. I remember when y’all took me out to celebrate my birthday and I started crying during dinner in front of y’all because I was so touched with the amount of love y’all had given and shown me that night. Now I will always cherish those memories… You will remain in my heart forever. Thank you dad for everything you ever did for me. Our hearts ache for you but we know you are healed and at peace. Until we meet again… see you on the other side. I love you forever.

He was a service man of all service men. From the US Army to a Sheriff, a true Patriot. The other night my family and I lit some cedar, prayed, & we talked about him and remembered all the great times we shared. Kayden said “He told me during graduation that him and grandma brenda were so proud of me and that he had never seen a graduation quite like mine. I was so happy I made my entire family proud. It was our shining moment. People weren’t only looking at me, they were looking at my family too. I did it all for them and he’s part of that! In this life and after, he will always be. When I dance and raise my eagle feathers, that will be for him too. The day he passed I watched that grad video again and you can see him in the crowd clapping his hands away with a big ol’ smile. I also realized how white his teeth were. lol. I love, in our culture, how we honor our loved ones, so I’ve chosen to do that until after the next new moon. This is to honor him, to honor his family, to honor his life, and to honor his journey on our creator’s path where I know he was welcomed with open arms. Loved him! Especially calling him “Grandpa Frank!” His reactions were priceless. He never knew how to respond. It was funny.” And JJ said “We went to Red Robin. I remembered how quickly he blamed me for spilling the food but I didn’t. Maybe they were all scared of Grandma so I took one for the team since I was the youngest and I could get away with it. He was funny. I loved him a lot.” It’s time like these that we are blessed to know where we came from and I believe, in my heart, that the Atonement has made it possible for us to one day be reunited with our loved ones. I am also grateful for my family that we are able to come together and offer prayers, strength, comfort, and love. Uncle Frank was always so kind towards me and my family. I’ve always enjoyed being around him and Auntie Brenda. Although I will miss him, I know he is at peace.
